What is CIMS?

CIMS ( Cleaning Industry Management Standard ) is the first consensus-based management standard that outlines the primary characteristics of a successful, quality cleaning organization. This certification is an in depth program that sets the standards of excellence for building service contractors. CIMS was developed by the largest cleaning trade association in the world, The International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA).

What does CIMS Certification mean for Helds?

CIMS applies to management, operations, performance systems, and processes. Compliance with the Standard demonstrates an organization is structured to deliver consistent, quality services that are designed to meet the customer's needs and expectations. It sets forth processes, procedures, and supporting documentation proven to be characteristic of customer-driven organizations. CIMS is nonprescriptive and each individual organization has the flexibility to choose the most effective ways in which to meet its requirements.

How does the CIMS certification benefit our customers?

CIMS identifies Held's as a quality, customer-focused, professional organization that should be the first considered for service. CIMS offers assurance that Held's management systems and processes have been assessed by an independent, third-party and are in compliance with the industry's leading standards and best practices. CIMS enable Held's to cut costs associated with poor efficiency and services and allows us to pass along these savings to our customers. CIMS ensures that Held's possesses a sustainable business model through which we are committed to providing valuable, long-term service for our customers.
